This page explains how to cancel or withdraw from an order placed with 3DSupercarBricks. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal described below applies to consumers in the European Union. Orders placed from outside the EU are governed by our standard return policy.
1. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, take physical possession of the last item in your order.
2. Cancelling before your order ships
As long as your order has not yet been fulfilled, you can request a cancellation at any time from your order status page, or by contacting us at info@3dsupercarbricks.com.
3. How to withdraw (no account login required)
To exercise your right of withdrawal you can either:
- use the cancellation/withdrawal function on your order status page, or
- send an unambiguous statement by email to info@3dsupercarbricks.com, stating your name and order reference number. No account login is required.
This is a two-step process: you submit your request together with your name and order details, and you then receive an automatic confirmation of your withdrawal request by email (on a durable medium).
Model withdrawal form
You may use the following template, but you are not obliged to:
To 3DSupercarBricks (info@3dsupercarbricks.com):
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods:
— Ordered on / received on: ____
— Order reference number: ____
— Name of consumer: ____
— Address of consumer: ____
— Date: ____
4. Exceptions — when the right of withdrawal does not apply
Under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example, signature editions with an engraved name or number, or a configuration you selected); and
- digital building instructions, once their delivery has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for that digital content.
For standard, non-personalised kits and models, the right of withdrawal applies as described above.
5. Inspecting your order and diminished value
You may unpack your order and inspect the components to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, just as you would in a shop. Our kits are supplied in sealed inner bags so that you can assess the contents.
If you handle the goods beyond what is necessary for this inspection — for example by assembling or otherwise using the kit — you are liable for any resulting diminished value. Because an assembled or used kit can no longer be sold as new, this diminished value may amount to a substantial part of the purchase price. We will deduct it from your refund and explain the deduction to you in writing.
6. Refunds
Where a valid withdrawal applies, we refund the purchase price and the standard delivery costs within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have returned them, whichever is earlier. The direct cost of returning the goods is yours. Any diminished value, and any non-refundable digital instruction component, will be deducted.
7. Orders from outside the EU
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers in the EU. If you ordered from outside the EU, your order is subject to our standard return policy.
