FDM 3D printing is a type of additive manufacturing that uses a thermoplastic filament as a raw material. The filament is melted and extruded through a nozzle to create the object layer by layer. The printer moves the nozzle along the X, Y, and Z axes according to the design specifications. This process is also known as Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF).

Resin 3D printing, on the other hand, uses a liquid resin that is cured layer by layer using UV light. The printer uses a light source, such as a laser or projector, to solidify the resin in a specific pattern according to the design. The cured resin forms the 3D object.

SLS 3D-Printing. Selective Laser Sintering is an additive manufacturing process that belongs to the powder bed fusion family. In SLS 3D printing , a laser selectively sinters the particles of a polymer powder, fusing them together and building a part, layer by layer. The materials used in SLS are thermoplastic polymers that come in a granular form. This is done with an industrial printer.
